Smoke lobby approach is adopted in modern building in Hong Kong . It consists of two set of fire rated timber door (smoke stop door) in each staircase. The purposes of the fire rated door are to separate the dense smoke and fire and ensure life safety in case of fire.
Our fire rated timber doors are 50mm thick hard wood door with a range of plywood decoration, color and optional fire resisting glass panel for your choice. The timber doors are tested by recognized laboratory in according to BS 476 : part 22 standards and are approved by H.K. Building Authority and Fire Services Department.
